Should I crop or not?

It's weird I try to stay away from cropping my captures out of my own personal opinion.
Alot of beginner Digiscoper's feel they can be mega distance away from the subject and still have Crystal clear resolution no it doen't work that way , not only heat haze but cropping can deteriate quality also .
This Greater Yellowlegs and Pectoral Sandpiper were not cropped and were taken from a distance between 40 and 60 feet and still held up, for uncropped photos

Fall is on the move

Yes as the Warbler's and Flycatchers migration diminish in number's, soon we will be ushering in Sparrows Raptors and others , last night though turned out less than stellar for migrants, but I did manage to squeeze out these beauties.

I wish they all come out this good!

If I had a perfect Digiscoped capture this one would have to be it. perfect contrast with a slight crop and minimal Sharpening heck, I probably could of got away with no Sharpening on this beauty of a House Wren also I'll through in a Lincoln's Sparrow for a Bonus.

Hofstra Park Migrants

Hofstra Park Migrants,

Yes my local jaunt was pretty good today with this Eastern Pheobe being the only Bird in the area, which led me to a conclusion for Fall Migrants.
Now Hofstra park is a ridge location which makes it far more in the Spring for migrants as the low land traps closer to the coast are better for the fall Sandy Hook, Mill Creek, Overpeck and so on .
My Two Week vacation starts on Wed which will be almost a solid Digiscoping adventure!!!
This will give me a chance at some sought after species such as Buff Breasted Sandpiper, Baird's Sandpiper, and anything else that happens to stumble in front of my scope.
