I love it when the waders pass through. Red Necked Stints are in my top 3 fave birds (along with Crossbills and Stellers Sea Eagles).
Unfortunately there is nowhere to set up scope and look at waders across mudflats/wetlands around here simply because we don't really have those habitats in south Hokkaido. There are still some on the narrow beaches at least....
I would highly recommend Jamaica Bay Wildlife refuge for avid Digiscoper's the opportunity's are endless, believe me I'm there again!!!

I am happy for I have two weeks of vacation starting on Wed so I will be there again.
i will have to there for sure.. next year when We are on the east coast!
