Back lit horned grebe, but that was just a minor infraction compared to what almost happened to me and my Truck.
I was actually searching for a Snowy Owl at Liberty state park and when I returned to my Truck, a State Park Ranger asked me if I was Kevin Bolton as he was looking over my Toyota, I said sure that's my name and he proceeded by saying I am going to have to impound your vehicle for it is not registered, I was a bit concerned considering it was 20 degrees and about 25 miles to my home plus the fines by the State Park system are usually double compared to towns, and I could only imagine the impound fee to get my truck back!
Luckily I had an insurance card that was not up to date but valid so the State Ranger called my insurance company and they confirmed , so he said if I were you you better go to Motor Vehicle and take care of that or I will put out a warrant in the state and if you get pulled over that will be it!! So I cut my day short and proceeded to Motor Vehicle.

Yes Stu correct I have a bit of respect for State park employees for conservation issues ,but this guy was a little to much in my face attitude so I pretty much screwed my whole day of shooting efforts down the drain by the time I was done with Motor Vehicle it was 3:30PM,and Saturday was a total Snow out.
