Bird Bath's are great

Yes Bird Baths are great attractants, this past Friday I stopped by the N.J Audubon in Franklin Lakes N.J, with overcast conditions prevailing I thought my best place to Digiscope would be at this location because of the feeders and Bird Bath, an interesting think that happened when I was staking out my position Patrick the manager turned on the drip system at the bath it was like gangbusters, Robins ,Yellow Rumps, Cedar Waxwings, Catbirds along with 5 more species showed up at the bath, I was like a kid in a Candy store with about 25 feet distance from my subjects, the only downside was the Overcast conditions.

Post Processing hangups

Alot of Photographers Digiscopers alike tend to overdo it at times with Photoshop and other software, the key is you can't make a crappy base picture look good with post processing .
This Savannah Sparrow was just cropped with bad lighting also but it is workable.

Fall Sparrows

Yes an Adult White Crowned Sparrow at last, this one was about 50 feet and the detail could have been a little better but you take some and break some,

Low Light Digiscoping

With the weather taken a turn for the worst as two Nor Easter storms are in the process of visiting my area till Sunday , I did manage this morning to get one decent Hermit Thrush with some nice Red leaf composition in the foreground and background, as a rule of thumb on dark days the closer to the Bird the better capture which in this case was about 25 feet, also I had to boost my ISO to 200 which I only achieved a 1/75Th of a second shutter speed because of the dark background.
One thing I was surprised about was the noise level wasn't to bad so no need for further processing.

Stilt Sandpiper

The whole time I have been Digiscoping at the Meadowlands, I heard about stilt Sandpiper's lurking about, of course it took me 2 weeks to finally find one mixed with about 30 Lesser Yellowlegs in which can be easily overlooked.
