I went to Garret Mountain today hoping for some decent migrants ,but I had no good luck I had to cram some captures considering the weather was going to be a complete wash out this weekend , luckily I ran into a flock of Chipping Sparrows which helped out.
Along with a bonus Northern Flicker foraging for insects at a rotting log.
JerseyDigiscoping with Kowa Prominar Digiscoping is a photo method which involves attaching a compact or DSLR camera to a Spotting scope while achieving focal lengths from about 800mm to around 4000mm. JerseyDigiscoping features Bird and Wildlife Photos, tech bites, and some new equipment reviews along with my journal of my outings. All my captures are taken exclusively thorough Kowa Prominar 880 series scopes. Enjoy JerseyDigiscoping ,,,Kevin Bolton

More CanonEOS7D
Yesterday I went to the Meadowlands with the 7D and was pondering on replacing the 7D for another model preferably a Nikon ,I felt my shots have not been as sharp as I wanted , but today I figured it was a combo of Mirror Slap vibration and poor focusing, so I decided to use the live view feature with the Hood Loop and it made a difference with the focusing and also the Live view mode is a quiet mode as in no predominate Mirror slap, and giving it was poor light along with High Iso settings ,I felt I had alot more keepers today.
