Grasshopper Sparrows from the Sony RX-100 & Panasonic GH3 comparason

I was testing different cams out in the field and my two main ones are the Sony RX-100 and the Panasonic GH3 with the 20 mm1.7 lens...


Here are some Grasshopper Sparrows taking with the RX-100.

And here are some taken with the Panasonic GH3 20mm1.7 lens




With the Panasonic the captures were in RAW format with very little un sharpen Mask applied.
Both the Sony and the Panasonic do great jobs but with the Panasonic 20 1.7 you have to be  bit closer to your subject,ex specially smaller Birds ,,I would say 25 feet at the most close focus to 20 feet would be optimal.
