Stilt Sandpiper @ Jamaica Bay wildlife refuge
Left Jersey and braved the masses of the carbon burning beast, were too? Jamaica Bay wildfife refuge, I love Jamaica Bay this time of the year for photos and scanning the Shorebird flats, all though I arrived at the wrong time of the tide which should of been high the reason why is the East pond is freshwater and when the tide comes in to the Ocean and Bay the Birds are forced in to the East pond were the likes of regular migrants like this Stilt Sandpiper and more iregular rarietys like Buff Breasted Sandpiper , Hudsonian Godwit and others of the like will show up to put on the feed bag to continue there long journey.
