DSLR Scoping is this true Digiscoping?

Hello all I had a wonderful time at the Cape May Fall weekend with Jim Danzenbaker and Kowa optics at the display booth and out in the field , in the process everything fell together perfect a great Migration movement along with meeting some terrific patrons of the Birding community.

Along with the meeting of some great Birders and contributors to the community such as Jeff & Liz Gordon,Kevin Karlson not pictured, and Jim Danzenbaker of Kowa ,I had the chance to use the Nikon D300S/Kowa TSN-PZ photo adapter connected to the 883 scope, it took some time to getting use to with one factor being the Mirror Slap causing vibration, but I am glad Paul Hackett briefed me on how to eliminate the Slap by holding the Scope firm and pressing your face to the camera with some pressure and taking 5 continuous burst shots , and Paul mentioned the 2nd though the 4th shot should have the least amount of vibration hence being the better shots to keep ,what a blast being able to shoot on a fast frame per  second sequence a completely different Animal from the point and shoot but they both have there plus and minus points points,   Here are some of the Yellow Rumps and Hermit Thrush captures with the D300S.

Kevin,

Sorry if I'm posting this question in the wrong place. Does the S90 work well with the 20-60 zoom? I just got an 883, and currently my only digiscoping camera is an old 995 I used to use with a Pentax PF-80ED. I had gotten away from digiscoping mostly and just cropped a lot with my Canon DSLR and 400mm lens. The Kowa is incredible though(!) so want to get back to basic digiscoping.

Stu,,, It is tempting those pic's that I posted were ok I know it has potential for better captures, I just need about a week with the D300 or a Canon 7D to figure out the settings a little better.
