Thanks everybody for support of JerseyDigiscoping. since 2008
Over the years we had to get threw the growing pains along with phrasing my way of writing so you don't have to feel like your are from Mars to understand my post.
I finally feel I have made some progress in that category,I almost went out and purchased Dragon the Voice recognition software but I am starting to get the hang of things.
It almost past me up the 4 year mark I have been out in field more consistent time just fly's by.
Yesterday I went to Mill Creek Marsh to see what opportunity were available although there was a Big movement of Semipalmated Sandpipers along with Short Billed Dowitchers which is a good Bird for Mill Creek , they were all at bad Sun angle ,but the High Tide made the Marsh Wren more visible and vocal and I did manage to get a few captures.

July movement +Red eye Vireos
Lately it has been steaming here in the Northeast and probably within the whole country but like clock work as soon as July 4th past I get into the Migrating Shorebird mode,so I ventured down to Mill Creek Marsh and found some Least Sandpipers along with Lesser Yellowlegs.
With the High Heat and Humidity I decided to stay very local today to seek out some very confiding Red Eyed Vireos, I think these guys are getting use to me they seem to like the low shrubs in the area making for some great Digiscoping.

A flight with the Red Eye
Boy that's how I felt yesterday.
Now I finally managed some decent captures of Red Eyed Vireos ,though the shadowing in one kind of bothered me but I did remove some ,,I was suppose to head down to Negri ponte for some Blue Grosbeaks but old Sugar Pie layed it on last minute that she had to use the good car, and the condition of my Toyota P/U I don't like driving more than 1 hour fear of breaking down,so I had to go to my local patch.

Working with adverse backlit conditions
Yes I should have been there yesterday or the weather man said bright and Sunny today,, lately I can throw that Weatherman to the Dogs, considering the morning's in the Summer I usually have to compete with Haze,Humidity, dust and Fog and by the time that burns off the Sun in the morning is way to high for optimal Digiscoping conditions especially June though most of July when we have more daylight in the east.
So on my latest outing trying to update my Prairie and Blue Winged Warbler collection that just happened but I made the best of it and adjusted by overriding my ex poser when the perch was facing the white cloudy background or bring up my ISO levels when the Birds had more of a green background from the plentiful Cedar trees and mountains in the area, I also had to work with my editing ability's to fine tune my captures as punching up the brightness along with white balance adjustment along with a few other tricks .
This Prairie Warbler is an example before and after editing.
You can see it is very flat in color and other infractions I felt that could be addressed.
And here is the finished product,it seems to pop a bit more form added vibrance and selective color .

Wallkill Grasslands
It has been the first time I have been to the Wallkill Grasslands in over a year ,and the chorus of Blue Winged Warblers,Prairie Warblers,Field Sparrows and Grasshopper Sparrows were in the air.
One are two things that were a bit disturbing to me, was the farmers property next to the parks boundary's of the preserve totally killed the habitat for nesting Grasshopper Sparrows, along with some construction workers that were building some kind of a shed at the boundary of the park which totally killed the aura and beauty of this jewel, the icing on the cake was some pathetic loser that just lets his Britany Spaniels trounce wildly through the nesting area of the Sparrows and tries to retrieve them with his pathetic Dog whistle the does not do a damm thing!

A lifer and Shades of Blue
When Bill Elrick gave me a shout and said there are possible Mississippi Kites breeding up at sterling forest , my lifer chance was in the bag .
The Lighting was to be desired not optimal but it was a pleasure to capture this Beautiful raptor in stretch mode
When I arrived at Ironwood rd alot of the Warblers I am presuming are on the nest making it a bit more silent than usual ,,so some Indigo Buntings kept me entertained with plenty of looks
