Canon powershot S90

I just purchased the Canon Powershot S90. Previously, I requested an adapter from a Japanese Company; Turbo Adapter. They said they cannot ship their product. I can't understand why they denied sending me the product, that will utilize the S90 to a premier digiscoping tool. I'm hoping I can resolve this problem.

Otherwise I think the Canon Powershot S90 is an excellent choice for a Digiscoping camera with it's RAW function and versatile self timer, and great contrast , I know it will complement any Kowa/DA3/DA4 combo with brilliant results.

By the way all of my recent shots with the S90 were not with a Shutter release cable they were done with one of my digits Ala finger, so when I apply a Shutter release system the captures should be even sharper!

Kevin, you can try Kowa TSN-DA4 adapter. I'm thinking of getting it - for future camera compatibility.

You have excelent photos with s90 on flickr.

Cheers

Most Japanese online sites don't export stuff alas. Doing business abroad is seen as too risky perhaps?

Thanks everybody Juan the only thing that works other than a third party item with S90 is the Kowa DA3.

I have the Canon S90 and the Lensmate "stick-on" adaptor. I use the Kowa TSN 663 but the DA1A Kowa adaptor keeps both lenses too far apart to avoid vignetting. I am hoping for some kind of a remedy...

Kevin, I am using the Canon S95. Also no auto shutter release. You mentioned an adapter to be able to trip the shutter. What kind and by whom? Wondering if it would work with the S95. I found one persons solution and that was a software hack. I am not willing to try this since one mistake costs you the camera.

Kevin I just downloaded the CHDK which is the Canon Hack software. I downloaded Card Tricks and then the program. Ordered a Ricoh CA-1 remote trigger from Amazon for about $25.00 with a usb attachment that should fit the s90 since it fits the s95. I will let you now if it works the way they say it does.
