At last I had some success with other some other species besides the same Sparrows all the time granted they are great for Practice but I need to fill my catalog.
Today I happened to stumble on a Black Crowned Night Heron on my way to the store It was actually in a small stream which I think it might of wintered, but I had to stage in the front of someones front yard for the captures and of course I got weird looks.
And here is a one of my favorites of him yawning.
And another in RAW format , I am glad the Sun wasn't to strong considering it was late AM.
And lets not forget the Song and White Crowned Sparrows that were around in abundance.

Also there were plenty of Killdeers setting up on territory in the area.
Along with plenty of lovely American Tree Swallows staging nest Boxes along with sparing with each other.
And not to forget White Crowned Sparrows adults and Juveniles cranking up there testosterone's .

Late Winter Transitiion
Decided to hit my favorite Migrant trap Garret Mountain for some early migrants, I finally got a Picture of a Winter Wren, I swear this Bird is my nemesis the capture is OK but a bit distant, but I can say I Digiscoped one.
I also had song good movements of Fox and Song Sparrows move in with the first being very Spooky , I did manage some Song Sparrows though and a BC Chickadee searching for Pete Booth Seed handouts.

Last of the Tree Sparrows
I probally have had my last chance at these American Tree Sparrow of this year no stellar shots but decent ones.
I had a chance with these spooky Sparrows and at the closest about 35 to 40 feet ,but that will have to do for now, next time a blind might be in order.

Wintering Dowitcher treat Soured by Jogger.
Yes I had one of those encounters again!
I can not believe when this Runner see"s me Photographing and I give him the hand Jester to slow down at the least, and he just barrels through my zone sending the Dowitcher into the stratosphere, usually I have know problems with runners which are courteous most of the time but this guy SUCKED, especially when I had a money shot of a Long Billed Dowitcher in great lighting not to say there is anything wrong with this capture, but the one I would of had before Dumb Ass ignorant Human Duffus came trouncing through would have been stellar!
That is a lesson that I learned and next time I will be a little more selective were I choose to Shoot.
