Wallkill Grassland Grasshopper"s

I had another shot today for Grasshopper Sparrows at Wallkill for the optimum Sharpness with this species I think close focus to about 20 feet is the ticket.
These captures were taken about 25 feet but I don't no what it is but I feel there off in some odd way, could it be my post processing? Or maybe my camera is having trouble picking up detail in this species. So this Friday I will break out my blind so I can try at close focus and get some more detail.

Rainy weather blues

Boy another day of overcast damp weather it was the first time I was out with the scope in about a week with a small window of opportunity for captures, with limited Sunshine I managed to bang out these two low shutter speed beauties.
I was mainly concentrating my efforts on Northern Rough winged Swallow when this Cardinal plopped down next to them at about a 40 feet distance.

Flight shot ala Digiscoping

I finally messed around with some Black Skimmer flight shots this past Saturday,
It is a technique that takes getting used too.

Was I wrong for yelling? Not at all.

Tonight I witnessed something very disturbing some of our local young citizens=I think/
chasing and stomping a Killdeer nestling to death why I was watching my son on his bike. At this time my wife was on the School track close to the tragedy was occurring, so I yelled down for her to intervene she exchanged some words with the kids with there ages at about 7, when my emotions overcame me so me and my son ran down the hill arrived at the location in which I gave the youngsters the 10Th degree of rage man! I was Pissed beside that the Mother was walking the track oblivious to the problem what she did not notice her kids chasing the Killdeer chicks all over the field for 5 frig in minutes!!!
With the crescendo of stomping one to death and lying to my face we didn't do it!
So the Kids started crying and my wife was very upset with me saying you don't yell at some one Else's kids!
Yes the Mother of the kids is in the wrong for not teaching her Kids the basic Bull S of wrong and right.
Also thank my wife for the loving environmental support she has been giving me give me a break Honey you know the issues I stand for. why don't you just stab me in the back!

Species interaction

It was interesting observing an Eastern Kingbirds behavior towards other passerines .
For Example how come the King tolerates Orchard Orioles but can't stand Baltimore Orioles is it a color thing?Or aggresive jesters in posture?
These two species were found at Robert Stahl Grassland area a jem of a park with no problem of Dog walkers to sour the Birding experience.
