Mid Day Hot and Humid capture"s

I am still trying to figure out my flaws with my last month or so of captures I think I lost a little of my Flickr fan base as one viewer pointed out my photos are not as good as they used to be Hmm. Can it be my editing skills are lacking? or my composition ? Or equipment flaws.
Maybe Humid conditions along with heat distortion, which leaves me puzzled and concerned considering all the passion I put into the art AM I WASTING MY TIME!!!
I am at the point were I thought a break would do me good which it did not, cause I feel I am in the same boat as before with my captures lacking in some way I feel.
Don"t get me wrong folks I'm not looking for an ego boost or pampering, just to find an answer to my dilemma and to get back on track, I put to much of my Heart into this to just roll over and fold.

The P6000"s RAW ability

I'm all about shooting in RAW but 1 frame at a time is a little to much with the P6000"s RAW ability. TIME CONSUMING!!!

I would like to talk about improving the P6000 in my mind here is my list.

1. Being able to shoot RAW in continuous mode
2. When using the self timer have it shoot 5 frames instead of only 1 frame
3. To shoot with the remote in continuous mode

In continuation that would make the Nikon P6000 a Jem of a P&S for Digiscoping not that there is something wrong with it of course the P6000 reigns over the other P&S cameras that are on the market with its ED glass and fast Autofocus.

Jamaica Bay

Yes it is that time of the year again time to pay all of those tolls, and get aggravated with the traffic on the way to the East Coast"s premier Shorebird migration spot Jamaica Bay, this Glossy Ibis is one of the species that is a Summer resident.
Dowitchers were in high Number but me and Neil could not get close enough for decent captures, also I ran into Dave Blinder and Mike Britt two local Jersey guys, the first I heard was either Dave or Mike saying O Kevin your Digiscoped pictures are SO great really laying it on thick you know, why I was conversing with Neil by my car it was embarrassing, I know they were toying with me which kind of cracked me up thinking about it on the way home I will get back at you guys LOL.

Digiscoping over 100 feet

As you know Digiscoping distance is important as to remember small Passerines 16 to 35 feet Larger Passerines to 50feet Raptors Egrets Gulls and Larger Birds up to 100 feet .

However this Snowy Egret was taken at about 200 feet it was a little tricky with exposer which manual focusing was in order because at that distance the auto focus becomes unreliable.
